This U-lock carrier was clamped down on the brake cable, preventing proper brake function.

This chain was old and had a bent link, which caused it to jam up and seize the drivetrain. We removed the link and suggested the owner get a new chain.

We always check that the brake pads are in good condition, and are aligned and secured properly. Bad brakes are bad news!
